ACIG Modeler's Corner
Frequent visitors of ACIG.org forum know a gentleman with nick "Johnopfor" as somebody who works in a modelling business, and has dozens of completed, as well as several hundreds of incomplete kits at hand. Here a small choice of what John finished over the years - with John's commentary:
Iraqi Super Etendard; Academy kit with decals from Repliscale MiG-29 set and DML T-72-kit for numbers.

Above and bellow: This is an F-16A of the 159th Fighter Squadron, 125th FIG, Florida Air National Guard, operating from Jacksonville International Airport circa 1990, before conversion to ADF configuration. But other than that, I believe that this is the best 1/72 scale F-16 on the market.
The F-16 is the new Monogram F-16C kit, which has parts for some of the early A models as well, except for the short-spined block 15 aircraft. I has to cut off the short parachute housing from an ESCI F-16 kit to get the correct housing. You will have to do some work if you want to convert the kit to ADF standard, the kit does not have the bulges at the base of the F-16A stabilizer.
The decals came from Repliscale, but these are only basic markings, and because the monogram kit only has markings for late model F-16C's will need another decal set for the early markings. I used Microscale 72-498, but thier marking diagrams for the walkway stripes are incorrect, I used a recruiting poster for the 125th printed in the early 1990's for the correct placement.
